Job Description
The Company A leading engineering company with a multi billion pound turnover who are a leading supplier of Power Transmission Products into multiple sectors including the Chemical, Transport, Automotive, Metals along with several other sectors. They are on course to achieve double digit growth this year. In order to continue this impressive performance the business needs to recruit an additional Regional Sales Executive to cater for the growing market demands.
The Role 1. As the Regional Sales Executive you will be responsible for developing new business in the chosen territory where 20% of your role is to generate new customers and 80% of your time will be spent Account Managing 2. The role will require you to spend four days out on the road visiting new customers and the other day in the office planning and preparing visits and contacting suppliers to follow up on enquiries. 3. As the Regional Sales Executive you will be responsible for selling the full range of power transmission products, this will require you to visits customers, dealing with people such as Maintenance Managers and Production Managers to understand the technical faults. 4. The Regional Sales Executive will then report the findings to the customer and provide a solution usually involving a replacement product from a manufacturer.
The ideal Regional Sales Executive will have the following: • Technical Sales Experience Selling a mechanical product, this could be Pumps, Valves, compressors and HVAC systems • An appetite for building long term relationships is a must • Professional Qualification - Engineering Qualification • Excellent verbal, communication and presentational skills are a pre-requisite.
